Rear Forklift For Small Tractors
New from Europe is the McConnel rear-mounted forklift that enables small (Cat. I) tractors to haul big round bales and other heavy loads.
Designed for 25 hp. and larger tractors, the new Trimlift fits on the tractor's 3-pt. hitch. It's equipped with two 20-in. dia. hard rubber bogey wheels that bear the weight of the forklift's load. It has adjustable 39-in. long forks and a double-acting top-link ram. Lifts one-ton loads up to a maximum height of 6¢ ft.
Harold Lyman, North American importer of the new forklift, notes that it's equipped with "tilt back" and "tilt forward", options. Side-shift is also optional. All operations are hydraulically powered.
Trimlift to fit Cat. I tractors (25 hp. and larger) retails for right at $2,000.
