How To Adjust Nuts On Long All-Thread Bolts
Mark Snider, Cle Elum, Wash.: To adjust nuts on long all-thread bolts, Mark cuts deep sockets in half and welds the two parts of the socket to either end of a piece of heavy-wall pipe. Then he can use an air gun to turn the homemade tool. "We use tools from Harbor Freight for this because they're cheap. We also buy their wrenches to cut up and bend to make tools for special applications," says Snider.
