Kinze Goes "Back To The Future"
As we were finishing up this issue to go to press, Kinze Mfg. announced it is getting back into the mounted row crop planter business. The company stopped making them years ago to focus on its big trailing units but says demand has been growing for “smaller” mounted units. New models include 6 and 8-row rigid with 30 to 40-in. spacing, as well as 12 and 16-row stack fold, with either vacuum or mechanical seed metering. Various no-till or min-till attachments will be available. www.kinze.com
