Freedom Weeder is a 44-in. long high impact resistant translucent PVC tube with a 20 ounce capacity. It does all the reaching for you, saves you from bending over. Its features are:
First - A unique “self-cleaning” spot applicator located at the bottom end, used for killing a single weed with pinpoint accuracy. To use, simply tap on or near the target weed. This spot applicator is designed to perform 2 popular functions:
A. Killing an individual weed by automatically releasing a small amount of herbicide per each tap.
B. Holding it down in place for continual herbicide flow until you release the pressure off the valve by lifting the applicator up and off the vegetation.
Second - A handheld trigger sprayer with an adjustable nozzle is used to spray an area of weeds where and when one would normally use a sprayer. Then when the trigger sprayer is no longer needed, it quickly attaches back to the handle (see photo) for convenient out-of-the-way storage.
Third - A continuous flow drizzle feature is great for killing weeds along driveways, sidewalks, in between patio pavers and crevices, along fences and borders, etc. It eliminates the need for a powered edger which is inherently dangerous.
