Auger Extender For Max-Emerge Planters GRAIN HANDLING Augers (4) 5-5-30 You can improve your Max-Emerge planter with an auger extender kit from Maust Enterprises that removes the hydraulic motor, seal and shaft from direct contact with corrosive fertilizer. The conversion also places the shear pin outside the fertilizer tube where it's easily accessible for replacement. The auger motor drive extender unit bolts between the auger tube end and the hydraulic motor, utilizing existing mounting holes. A "shaft extender" lengthens the motor shaft to compensate for spacer lengths.
