Hydraulic Hose Crimps Where Needed
The KarryKrimp line of portable hose crimpers from Parker lets you make hydraulic hoses when you need them, where you need them. Any user can make factory-quality hose assemblies quickly, easily, and cost-effectively. Crimp the fitting to the proper diameter every time. The crimpers are easy to operate and built to provide years of dependable service. They can crimp straight or bent-stem fittings.
The KarryKrimp hydraulic hose crimping machine provides up to 30 tons of force to crimp heads on hoses from 1/4-in. up to 1 1/4-in. ID, 2-wire braid, and up to 5/8-in. ID, 4-wire braid. It weighs just 55 lbs.
The crimper operates at up to 10,000 psi. It has a length of 12 in., a width of 15 in., and a height of 30 in. It comes with two dies, a crimp head, hose assembly, and a stand. It’s priced at $5,360 at Grainger.com. The crimper tool alone is priced at $2,600 on the Parker website.
The KarryKrimp 2 has a 60-ton force and can crimp 1 1/4-in. ID, 2-wire braid, 1-in. ID, 6-wire spiral, and up to 1 1/4-in. ID, 4-wire spiral hoses.
The portable crimper does not include a power source. It can be used with any of the six pumps from Parker. They include small and large hand pumps, small and large electric pumps, an air/hydraulic pump, and a vehicle battery-powered pump. All deliver up to 10,000 psi. Prices are available from distributors.
