Portable Power Box Provides Electricity
GMS Distribution manufactures portable power distribution boxes and electric cords specifically designed for contractor use. The boxes, created by an electrician, are compact and lightweight for easy portability.
The GMS portable power box will distribute electrical power within a system or facility. They’re common in industrial settings, including data centers and communication infrastructure.
Each Residential Contractor Kit is a power solution that adds 48 amps at 120 volts. The Power Boxes are designed to offer enhanced electrical protection with numerous choices for power options.
The kit comes with a power box, new and old-style range adapters, new and old-style dryer adapters, and a 25-ft. extension cord rated at 30 amps. Also included is a GMS trolley bag.
It has 30A/220V input and 48A/110V output amps, a twist lock power cord, and comes in at 32 lbs. Each unit comes with a 3-year warranty.
Each portable power box is made in Fort Wayne, Ind. Yellow, blue, red, and green options are available, each retailing for $999. It’s also possible to purchase just the GMS G-Unit for $399.
