Cart Helps With Tire Changes
The TRAC (Tire Rotation Assistance Cart) minimizes the risk of injury and makes rotations and installations easier. “It’s a simple way to use leverage to remove and install a tire from a vehicle during service or rotations,” says Kevin Robinson, owner of TRAC LLC. “Simply slide the tool under the tire to lift without sitting on the ground, straining your back, arms, and legs. The Roller Accessory Plate allows the technician to rotate the wheel to align the holes of the wheel with the hub of the vehicle, making for an easy installation. It really doesn’t get any easier.”
The cart aids in transporting tires and placing them directly where you need them to install the tire securely. With TRAC, there’s no heavy lifting required. “The patented TRAC TireJack works well in almost every shop environment,” says Robinson.
TRAC is built for durability with heavy-duty welded steel construction. The included steel base rollers provide tire support and make it easy to roll where needed. There’s a quick-lift hydraulic pump to get the cart to the precise height necessary for tire support. The swivel stem casters are lockable, and the telescoping support bar keeps the tires in place. There’s also an easy-access lug nut holder.
The cart weighs 83 lbs. and measures 23 in. by 21 in. by 18 to 44 in., depending on extension. The TRAC retails on the company website for $1,200. When in stock, the carts ship out within 5 to 10 business days. It’s also possible to purchase just the tire cradle and post ($400) or a floor jack adapter ($150) to use with your own floor jack.
It’s possible to order carts with custom paint colors by contacting TRAC. All purchases come with a 30-day return policy and a limited warranty. If they fail for any reason during the first year of ownership, the company will replace them for free.
