Turn your tractor into a pickup PICKUPS Modifications 14-6-25 You can haul, dig and dump with the rear-mounted Scoop-n-Haul from Kness Mfg., Albia, Iowa that "turns your tractor into a pickup. It'll even load and tote big round bales," according to Dwight Mater, Jr., marketing manager.
Available in eight 3-pt models to 'match tractor size and needsùfrom 36 in. wide (5 cu. ft. capacity) to 78 in. wide (36 cu. ft. capacity). All models are equipped with a dumping lever operated from the tractor seat.
The base skin is made of 16 ga. hot rolled steel, and the sidewalls of 12 ga. steel. The bottom U-shaped cutting edge is made of high carbon "grader blade" steel and ex-tends across the full width and along both sides. To choose the cutting angle, you simply raise or lower the hydraulic lift, or the adjustable top link.
Prices range from $528 for the 5 cu. ft model, to $1,048 for the largest 36 cu. ft. model.
