Mixer for Feed, Concrete
Although designed primarily for concrete, it can also be used as a feed mixer, says the manufacturer. And, in addition to farm tractors, it can be used with skid-steer loaders or backhoes.
The drum is 56 in. long, 36 in. in dia. and has a mixing capacity of 15 cu. ft.
To mix concrete, for example, the operator backs into the sand pile and watches the gauge to determine when the desired amount of sand has been self-loaded. He then repeats this process to self-load cement into the mixer. Water can be added by a hose or other device. Each batch is then mixed and, by reversing direction of the rotating drum, emptied directly into the form.
