Shut Down Battery Switch
You'll like this "shut-down" battery switch that eliminates battery drain in idled equipment and makes it more difficult for thieves to steal vehicles and equipment. The new battery master switch replaces the terminal on the negative battery post. A screw-down knob between the battery cable and post must be tightened down to complete the electrical circuit. When the knob is screwed out, the circuit is broken and the battery is disconnected. A thief will not be able to start the machine unless he puts a new terminal on the battery cable. And if there's a short anywhere on an idled ma-chine it won't drain current from the battery.
The shut-down switch sells for $12.95. Add $1 for special adapter post for batteries with side-mounted terminals.
