Electric-Powered Work Cart Built From Airport Luggage Handling Cart
✖ |
Your readers may be interested in this electric-powered work cart I built from an air-port luggage handling cart. The cargo rack on back can carry up to a 1,500-lb. load. I had to totally rework the original cart, moving the seat and controls backwards and fashioning many new components and body parts from scratch. It looks like a little car with lights, turn signals, a radio, and hydraulic brakes. It'll run for about a week of normal use on a single charge. I recently hurt my leg and have been using it a lot to get around. Easy to get on and off and a real workhorse. (Ardell W. Johnson, 18511 45th St. E., Lake Lillian, Minn. 56253)
