Wind Meter Lets You Measure The Wind
This new pocket-sized wind meter lets you check wind speed before spraying, burning ditches or doing other jobs where it would be useful - or just fun - to know what speed the wind's blowing.
The Kestrel Wind Meter measures winds from a slight breeze up to a gale force with 3 percent accuracy or better. The 5-in. long de-vice measures in knots, miles per hour, kilo-meters per hour, meters per second, feet per minute or Beufort force. It also gives maxi-mum and average wind speed.
Completely waterproof, the unit runs on a single watch battery.
Sells for $89 plus S&H.
