Big Bale Tractor Shed BUILDINGS Miscellaneous 23-2-4 If storage space is tight on your farm, you can set up a relatively inexpensive shelter for tractors or other machinery using big round bales.
Ethel Quinn needed a spot for her Deere tractor. She made walls by standing bales on end and then putting a second layer on top setting crossways. She used six bales to make each wall. Then she ran some scrap lumber across the top and covered it with heavy-mill plastic. A large plastic flap covers the open end of the shed to keep out wind and snow.
