This new heavy-duty 12-volt portable air compressor works great for filling tires, cleaning out radiators, and many other jobs. It's lightweight enough that you can easily carry it around but has a lot more power than other mini compressors.
The "12-Voltair" compressor is enclosed inside a 21 1/2-in. long steel box with a handle on top. It weighs 38 lbs. A 12-volt, 1/4 hp high torque DC motor powered by a car or pickup battery direct-drives the single cylinder pump. Includes 16 ft. of coiled air hose equipped with a tire air chuck and 9 ft. of electric wire with battery clamps.
"It has an oil-less compressor for low maintenance and is 100% duty cycled so you can run it 24 hours a day if you want to with no problems," says Dennis Goertzen. "The minimum hour life of the motor and pump is 2,000 hours so you can run it for a long time. The unit delivers .7 cfm's at 100 psi and 1.3 cfm's at 40 psi. You can use it to inflate a 225/75R16 tire at 45 psi or inflate a 3-gal. tank at 100 psi in only 3 minutes and 20 seconds."
