New Radio Hat
The Radio Cap is a baseball-style cap with a small but powerful transistor radio built into the top. The cap is only slightly heavier than a regular farm cap and has a reception range of up to about 100 miles, the manufacturer reports.
Two earphones connect to the receiver and clip onto the bill of the cap when not in use. You turn the radio on or off and adjust the volume by turning a button on the side of the cap. To tune in your favorite AM station, turn the button on the top of the cap. The radio is separated from your head by a lightweight mesh fabric.
The cap is available in green and white, red and white, navy blue and gold, and green and yellow. One size fits all. Sells for $16, which includes the cap, radio and 2 triple A batteries.
