Slide Back Chopper Kit for Deere Combines CROP STORAGE Accessories 17-6-32 "My new `slide back' chopper kit lets you slide the choppers on `20' series Deere combines back out of the way so you can windrow straw for baling," says Ralph Parkinson, Hillsburg, Ontario. The kit consists of slide rails, made from 1/8-in. steel, that bolt to existing bolt holes at the back of the machine. The chopper mounts on the rails. The only permanent modification is to the baffle door where two holes are drilled 4 in. below existing holes in the side panels. Fits 7700, 7720, and 8800 series combines. Sells for $150 (Canadian).
