Farm Office Made Out Of 20-Ft Tandam Axle Camper Trailer
Here's a photo of a farm office that I made out of an old 20-ft. tandem axle camper trailer. It's a handy place to keep technical manuals, paperwork and field and shop records. Our family had used the camper for years at a lake resort up in the mountains. We weren't using it any more so I hauled it 50 miles to our farm and parked it next to our shop. I moved in a desk that I bought cheap at an auction several years ago and plumbed in sewer, phone, water and heat. It has air conditioning and is heated by a diesel furnace. Inside there's a refrigerator, microwave, and even a bedroom to sleep in. Because it's next to the shop I lined the floor with plastic clear matting to protect the carpet from greasy or muddy feet. I even took apart an old wooden porch and reassembled it on one side of the trailer. There's a freezer on the porch. (Jim Briggs, Rt. 1, Box 309, Marsing, Idaho 83639 ph 208 896-4574)
