Travel In Safety With New Scarf Purse
Another rip-off. But this time the purse snatcher didn't get much because the lady's real valuables were being carried in a safe place in her clothing.
Around her neck the lady wore a chic scarf with a hidden pocket for money, credit cards, and keys. She was wearing a "Scarf Purse", a patented new accessory that is growing in popularity for women everywhere.
The Scarf-Purse with its hidden zipper pocket, is available in silk or polyester in red, navy, white or beige. It comes in 36, 45, or 67 in. length and retails for $10.
The distributor, Christine Lane Co. of Chicago, also has other accessories for safe-keeping of valuables. One is the Sash-Purse ($12.50) which is worn around the waist, and another is the Neck Purse ($7), a small light-weight bag worn out of sight around the neck. A terry cloth "carry-all" ($10) with a zipper pocket for sports wear conceals glasses, keys, or change.
