Diesel-Powered Tractors Start Easier With High-Speed Starters
August E. Andersen, Long Eddy, N.Y.: "One trick I've learned that makes diesel-powered tractors start easier in cold weather is to equip them with high- speed starters. My Deere 4020 started hard so I mounted a high-speed starter on it, which solved the problem. I bought the starter at my local Deere dealer.
