Instant Bins For Grain, Fertilizer CROP STORAGE Grain Storage 2-5-18 Instant bulk bins - delivered to your farm fully erected and ready to go to work - are new from Bocats, Inc., Martin, N. Dak.
The ready-to-go bins, delivered direct from the factory in a special trailer, are winched into the vertical position upon arrival at your farm. You can pour your own concrete footings for the bins (an 11 x 11 x 10 in. pad for each leg) and have them ready when the bins arrive or you can buy ready-made, portable prestressed concrete pads.
Bocat's new bins are made of 13 ga. steel sides and bottom, and 14 ga. on the top. They're equipped with six legs, a ladder, 45? hopper and measure 12 ft. in dia. and just under 26 ft. high.
Capacity is 50 tons of fertilizer (2 bins hold a carload) and right at 600 bu. of grain. Interior epoxy coating is optional.
Retail cost is right at $2,500 fob. Delivery via the company's special trailer is $2 per mile one way from the factory to your farm.
