Old Computer Desk Turned Into Portable Storage Unit For Lincoln Wire Feed Welder
✖ |
William Fazer, Powers, Mich.: "I salvaged an old computer desk to make this portable storage unit for my Lincoln wire feed welder. A hole cut near the back of the top shelf allows the CO2 tank to set on the lower shelf. The bottom of the tank is held in place by small strips of wood. Pegboard on the rear of the lower storage area holds spare tips, spools and small parts. To handle the extra weight, I replaced the plastic casters with steel wheels. I also added two small handles to the top of the unit to make it easy to roll the cart out from under the workbench."
