I used an electric heat gun to heat one end of a 1-ft. length of tubing until it started to get soft, and then squeezed it between two boards to flatten it out, leaving a narrow opening. Then I heated the other end of the pipe and inserted the vacuum hose. When the pipe cooled off, I had a tight fit. I also use it to clean out grain from under the aeration floor in my grain bin. You could make the pipe as long as you need."
