Pearce of his company's new hydraulically-powered Offsider.
It loads itself, taking 2 bales at a time, and handles all shapes and sizes of round bales ù even round bale silage ù as long as the bale is still intact.
The Offsider can also be used to load and transport big bales, two at a time, without unrolling them.
It's available for use with most tractors 40 hp or larger. Options include an engine-driven hydraulic pack for use behind pickup trucks, or a pto-driven power pack for use behind smaller tractors. Retails for $3,885 (U.S.).
