Pop Bottle Vent Cap
Greg Hemming, Esterhazy, Sask.: "I've had trouble with water getting into gas or diesel fuel tanks on tractors with a small vent hole in the fuel cap. When it rains or there's a lot of moisture in the air, I have a problem if the tractor's outside. I solved the problem with a straight-sided liter-sized plastic pop bottle. I cut off the bottom 5 in., then made a couple V-shaped notches along the edge to vent it. Since I came up with the idea, I haven't had any more problems with water."
