The Estate Trimmer 500 is powered by a 12-volt high torque motor that's powered by a maintenance-free battery. The head is offset, allowing you to work close to walls and fences. The unit has an 8-in. cut and can accept either string or blades. The handle's angle can be adjusted by loosening a thumb screw at the base of the handle.
"It's great for trimming around trees, along flower beds, fences, etc.," says Milton Edney. "It's strictly a grass trimmer and doesn't have enough power to cut through heavy weeds or brush. It comes with a battery charger and will run about 40 minutes, on average, before it needs to be recharged."
