Or maybe you have a junked compact tractor you'd like to unload. He might take it off your hands. Weaver operates Weaver's Repair, a tractor and skid loader repair business. "We also buy and sell used compact tractors and loaders," he says. As an offshoot of the business, he recently started a salvage yard just for compact tractors. "We have several tractors for salvage parts on hand and are always looking for more," he says. For the time being, he's concentrating on Deere, Ford and Kubota brands because they're more prominent in his area. Generally, he prices used parts for 50 percent or less of the price of new ones. "If you want a part rebuilt, we can do that, too," he says. Business has been growing steadily as more people learn about the new salvage yard and he anticipates a growing need for whole salvage tractors. "We can ship parts by UPS or truck freight, and are set up to take Discover, Master Card, VISA, and American Express charge cards," he notes.
