Pocket-Sized "Emergency" Diapers
The E-Z Change diaper pouch measures less than 4 in. wide by 6 in. long by 1/2 in. thick, but it contains a regular full-size premium diaper. The secret is that the diaper is folded in three and then "vacuum packed" into the pouch, along with wet wipes. When the customer breaks the seal on the package to open it, the diaper expands to its original size.
"It lets you go on short errands or into a store or restaurant, without having to always carry a big diaper bag with you," say co-inventors Michelle Klippen and Penny Klitzke. "The vacuum packing process reduces the diaper's original volume by 50 to 70 percent."
The E-Z Change diaper is available in six different sizes ranging from 8 to 35 lbs., and in packages that hold 5, 10, or 15 diaper pouches. A 5-pack of size 3 (16 to 28 lbs.) sells for $3.89 plus S&H.
The company also offers pull-on training pants, swim briefs for toddlers, and disposable adult underwear products.
