I made this ski walker to support my bum leg. I bolted old wooden skis to a 1 in. wide by 1/2 in. cold rolled steel piece that makes the skis a few feet longer. The frame is a 3/8 in. steel rod welded to each end of the skis to stabilize it. It's good exercise and makes walking on ice easier. (Gordon J. Brietzke, R.R. 1 Box 26 S 4, Spirit River, Alta.
