Rear Forklift For Small Tractors
New from Europe is the McConnel rear-mounted forklift that enables small (Cat. I) tractors to haul big round bales and other heavy loads.Designed for 25 hp. and larger tractors, the new Trimlift fits on the tractor's 3-pt. hitch. It's equipped with two 20-in. dia. hard rubber bogey wheels that bear the weight of the forklift's load. It has adjustable 39-in. long forks and a double-acting top-link ram. Lifts one-ton loads up to a maximum height of 6¢ ft.
Harold Lyman, North American importer of the new forklift, notes that it's equipped with "tilt back" and "tilt forward", options. Side-shift is also optional. All operations are hydraulically powered.
Trimlift to fit Cat. I tractors (25 hp. and larger) retails for right at $2,000.
