Four-Door Extended Cab Pickup Great For Hunting Raccoons PICKUPS Miscellaneous 29-4-41 My three kids and I like to hunt raccoons, but there was never enough room inside our two-door pickup to hold everyone. So we put an old Jeep Wagoneer and a Chevy pickup together to make a four-door extended cab pickup. Now we have more room, and we don't have to worry about tearing up a newer vehicle when we're out in the sticks.
We started with a 1979 Jeep Wagoneer. We cut off the back part of the roof behind the rear doors, then welded on the cab and bed off a 1960 Chevy 2-ton shortbed pickup. It took about 100 hours to frame everything in. It worked out great. (Robert Hittle, 1731 Road P, Liberal, Kansas 67901 ph 620 624-3112)
