Flattener Helps Him Build With Pipe
Pipe up to 6 in. in diameter is no match for this home-built pipe flattener, made by Mel Primrose of Westlock, Alberta.
Primrose used a 20-ton jack to make the tool, building a heavy steel frame around it. He used the tool to prepare pipe he used to build a storage shed in his yard.
"It made the project easy and quick for me, since I could flatten the ends of all my pipes before welding or bolting them together," he says.
