Christmas Tree Lights Used To Dry Work Boots
I came up with an easy and inexpensive way to dry off wet work boots. I use old fashioned, outdoor Christmas tree lights. These are the egg-shaped, larger lights people used years ago. I have two lights on a string, and just put each light down into the toe of the boot and leave it on all night long. By the next morning, the shoes are dry. The light is warm, but not so hot it burns the shoe. I've been using this idea successfully for two or three years. It sounds funny but it works. (Herbert W.
