Instant Pierce For Refrigerators, Air Conditioners
"Instant Pierce" - that makes it easy to tap into any steel, copper, or aluminum refrigeration or air conditioning line from 3/16to 1-in. dia. It gets into hard-to-reach places and tightens down quickly by hand. There's an adjustable knob handle on the side that can be moved around to the most comfortable position. All components are made from the highest quality tempered steel. Tips are heavy and will not break. This tool can be used to recover liquid or vapor and will work on any type of CFC's.An entire new industry has cropped up in the past year or so to recycle used CFC's, which is rapidly becoming a valuable commodity. This tool can be used to pull CFC's out of junked appliances and automobiles. The CFC's are then reconditioned, and sold for as much as $7 to $8 a pound. We've had tremendous interest in the Instant Pierce from people interested in getting into this new recycling business, as well as from anyone who services refrigeration equipment, since it's no longer legal to vent CFC's out into the atmosphere. Instant Pierce sells for $89. (Richard Rahn & Terry Zelen, Instant Pierce, Inc, P.O. Box 871, Lakeville, Minn. 55044 ph 800 358-6563 or 612454 9215)
