Mini Condiment Picnic Tables FARM HOME Food 33-5-32 Woodworkers hate to see anything go to waste, and Glenn Young is no exception. He builds lawn furniture for sale at craft shows and always has a pile of scraps in his shop. One winter he and his wife were on a trip in Texas and he saw a clever condiment holder made of wood. "It looked just like a picnic table, " said Young, "and since I had plenty of scraps, I decided to make one myself."
That was in the late 1990's, and since then Young has sold somewhere between 350 and 400 at craft shows throughout the Midwest. The little condiment holders are about 6 in. long and 4 in. tall. The top has four holes for salt, pepper, ketchup and mustard, and an I-bolt in the center so it's easy to move around.
Sells for $16 plus S&H.
