Field Service Trailer Keeps Equipment Rolling
It's equipped with two 235 gal. tanks for 470 gal, total fuel capacity, and a 36.1 cu. ft. "accessory box" which can be loaded with a 30 gal. oil drum, grease, grease guns and a supply of replacement parts.
"Because it handles a big supply of fuel, most farmers could probably have it loaded in town, if necessary, for the same discount on fuel bulk delivered to their farms," says Dale Jooms, sales manager. He notes that "hauling fuel in reserve tanks for pickups poses a greater safety problem, and most of them don't hold enough to run several pieces of equipment all day."
The new Snoco trailer, rated at 7.000 lbs. capacity, comes with hydraulic brakes, 11L by 15 flotation tires, prior spring axle, a fire extinguisher, the two fuel tanks and rear storage compartment, hitch, tongue jack, lights, "no smoking" and other danger decals, and a 6 by 10 ft. bed. The tanks and storage compartments are easily removed if there's a need to use the trailer as a flatbed.
Suggested list price is $2,695. You can buy an optional 12 volt electric fuel transfer pump (14 gpm) with hose and nozzle, or equip it with your choice of transfer pump.
