Long Life Chrome Alloy Parts
R & H Machine, Inc. had its beginnings on Ray Stueckle's wheat farm in eastern Washington more than 50 years ago. He started with a farm welding/machine shop and went on to launch his renowned Combine Settings Clincics all across the U.S. and Canada. Today R & H Machine is an expanding corporation which manufactures its own long-wearing Chrome Alloy replacement parts, a result of the purchase of Gem State Alloys Foundry in 2006.(Ray Stueckle was well-known for his Combine Settings Clinics and the books that he authored, one of which is still available from R & H Machine. It's entitled, "Dear Ray, this is my Problem".)
The company's original focus has remained unchanged through the years û to provide the farmer with the highest quality parts possible while maintaining cost effectiveness. R & H stocks hundreds of different Chrome Alloy castings which fit a wide variety of equipment to help reduce the costs of operation, including: subsoilers, planters, cultivators, forage harvesters, fertilizer injectors, potato diggers, rod weeders, and other implements.
R & H parts are made from material designed for rock crushing so are extremely durable and will give many times the wear life of standard parts. The parts wear to a smooth finish giving longer wear and reduced drag, resulting in less fuel consumption.
R & H ripper points use a thick slab of Chrome Alloy to provide long life, backed with T-1 steel to give strength, and a mild steel boot to facilitate attachment to your ripper. Several different designs are available for specific applications. Each point includes a "wear indicator" so you will know when to replace the tip before your shank is damaged.
R & H cultivator points are constructed of solid Chrome Alloy for maximum wear. Most parts have a countersunk hex head bolt that will last the life of the point. Each cultivator point is supplied with a bonded washer to give a "shock absorber" feature.
R & H planter shoes maintain their shape and depth much longer than standard shoes. The sides stay slick and smooth, giving a better seed trough resulting in faster and more consistent germination.
The company also has weld-on parts to allow the repair of many types of points, openers, and shanks. Their inserts enable the farmer to rebuild an otherwise worn-out part into a better-than-new part.
