"Bullet-Proof" Kevlar Shoe Laces
You won't have to worry about breaking shoelaces or watching them rot away with these new heavy-duty bootlaces.KG-Xtreme bootlaces are made from 60 percent Kevler and 40 percent nylon, with the strands braided together and wax-coated. The last 1/2 in. of the laces are metal-tipped.
"These shoelaces are chemical resistant, manure resistant, fire resistant, and virtually unbreakable. Anyone who's hard on shoelaces will like them," says Jake Brownell, KG's Boot Guard, Eau Claire, Wis. "There are a lot of cheap shoelaces out there, so it's easy to break a shoelace every couple weeks. Even under the harshest conditions, these bootlaces will last for many months. And our metal tips won't come off like plastic ones."
KG-Xtreme bootlaces are available in 5 different lengths, from 45 to 84 in. Prices range from $8 to $9.40 plus $5 S&H.
