New Boot Scrapers FARM HOME Miscellaneous 8-2-30 No matter what breed you raise, you'll get a kick out of these life-like cast-iron hog, cattle and poultry boot scrapers, manufactured by the Foundry Collection, Mankato, Minn.
You can choose from "Porkchop" the hog, "Beefsteak" the steer, "Henrietta" the chicken or "Mud Mallard" the duck. The heavy 20-lb. boot scrapers can also be used as a doorstops or room ornaments.
Porkchop is 7 by 8 by 13 in. and comes as either a Duroc, Yorkshire or Hampshire. Beefsteak is available as a Hereford, Angus or Charolais.
The company also makes cast iron banks and paper weights in hog, beef, dairy and poultry shapes. "Bessy the Cow" bookends are also available.
Scrapers sell for $39.75, banks for $19.75 and paper weights for $10. Shipping is extra.
