A Minnesota firm also makes stand-up animals as well as silhouettes for the sides of barns, garage doors, mailboxes and so on.Hand cut from exterior hardboard, DecorAnimals, as they're called, come in hundreds of assorted sizes and con-figurations and includes fishing, hunting and wildlife scenes as well as farm machinery. The company can also personalize the cutouts with your farm name or a club logo.
Prices range from $4.99 for a piglet to $39.99 for a 6-ft. dairy cow. The company was started in 1983 by Larry Mages, a Lafayette, Minn., hog farmer who wanted to put silhouettes of hogs on his hog barn but couldn't find any-thing on the market. Now he sells throughout the U.S. and Canada.
