Problem With Battery On Cordless Drill Solved
Bruce L. Olp, Minocqua, Wis.: “I solved a problem with the battery and charger for my Sears Craftsman 18-volt cordless drill. The charger has 3 lights – yellow, green and red. Normally when you plug the battery into the charger, the red light comes on. Once the battery is fully charged the green light comes on.

Problem With Battery On Cordless Drill Solved FARM SHOP Maintenance Bruce L Olp Minocqua Wis : “I solved a problem with the battery and charger for my Sears Craftsman 18-volt cordless drill The charger has 3 lights – yellow green and red Normally when you plug the battery into the charger the red light comes on Once the battery is fully charged the green light comes on “The problem was that sometimes when the battery was put into the charger the yellow and green light would come on and the battery wouldn’t charge Yellow and green lights indicate a defective battery I found that by plugging and unplugging the power cord about 6 times the red light would come on and the unit would charge the battery ”
