Best Buy Ice Scraper FARM HOME Miscellaneous I got an unusual request from a faithful reader in England the other day Andrew Sewell who often sends us story ideas from European farm shows sent me a picture of a beat-up ice scraper and asked if I knew where he could buy one like it He bought it more than 20 years ago while on a trip to the U S and has never been able to find another one like it “I live near a river in a shallow valley so I often get a lot of fine frost on the windshield This scraper is about a foot long and has a 4-in brass blade that works much better than any plastic scraper I’ve ever tried ” says Sewell “The blade broke out of the plastic after a couple years so I drilled holes to bolt it back in place In fact I’ve repaired it a couple times over the years It still works fine but I’d like to find a new one ” If you know where to get a scraper like this let me know because I’d like one too! mark@farmshow com; ph 800 834-9665
