Barbeque Grill Made Out Of A 22-in. Semi Truck Wheel
My husband Gary made this one-of-a-kind barbeque grill out of a 22-in. semi truck wheel and scrap steel. He cut out one side of the wheel and welded a steel plate on the bottom. The wheel rim sets on the frame of an old water pump that was originally mounted on a 2-wheeled frame equipped with a handle. The wheel rim is welded to the pump frame using flat iron supports.

The grill is supported from the side by bolts that protrude through the rim, with holes cut into the rim serving as vents. The front side of the grill sets on a pair of metal legs. He just uses the handle to tip the grill and dispose of the ashes. (Charlotte Heaton, 18950 S.W. Sunnyridge Lane, Sheridan, Ore. 97378, ph 503 376-6344; cheaton@embarqmail.com)
