They Use Blackstrap Molasses To Loosen Rusted Parts
Ageless Iron Almanac featured an idea from this group of FFA tractor restorers. The boys hit on the idea of using heavily diluted blackstrap molasses to loosen rusted parts. They put smaller parts in a tub and let them soak in the molasses for close to two weeks, then rinsed them off.
