Removing stubborn oil, fuel and hydraulic filters has always been a challenge, and we’ve all collected various strap wrenches and filter pliers to make the job easier. I recently picked up the IPA Gator Jaws, and they are now my go-to filter pliers. With 23” length, they snake around hot exhaust manifolds and provide immense leverage on over-tightened filters.
