Measuring just 46 1/2 in. wide from wheel to wheel, 26 1/2 in. high, and 9 ft. 3 in. from tongue to tail, the spreader fits through a 4-ft. barn door so you can load it directly from the stall. Capacity is 28 cu. ft. or about 25 bu. The all-metal body has positive chain drive with "bear-claw" beaters on back. You engage and disengage the spreading mechanism from the tractor by reaching back and pulling on a steel ring attached to a cable.
