Bale Unroller Wheels
Howard Shipley, Steele, N. Dak., used old planter packer wheels, and scrap steel, to make round bale unroller wheels for the front of his tractor.Shipley says he carries the bale to the field on the front-end loader, cuts the twine and then drops it to the ground in front of the tractor. "Then you just drive against the bale with the unroller wheels to spread it evenly for feeding. Works real good," says Shipley, noting that the wheels don't interfere with normal operation of the tractor or loader.
