Spray-On Repellant Keeps Mice Away
The non-drip coating is scented with natural essential oils. The company says it repels mice in two ways: the scent overwhelms mice and drives them away, and the oil coating is too slippery for them to travel across.
The lubricant comes in a large plastic container. A video on the website shows someone pouring the product into a handheld sprayer equipped with a wand. The idea is to spray anything a mouse could use to climb up into the tractor or combine such as wheel rims and tires, tie rods, axles, and jacks. Pay attention to any small holes in equipment such as cab corners.
Store It Safe is non-toxic so even the ground around tires can be sprayed. It’s sold as Mouse-Free in the U.S. at www.mouse-free.com. A gallon jug sells for $99.
