Self Propelled Breezewood
"It automatically self-propels itself at an infinitely variable rate as it cuts through the log," says Breezewood Mfg. of its Bandmill. "Saws 40% more lumber per log, thanks to its thin 1/16 by 2-in. band saw blade." Cuts logs up to 24 in. in dia. and up to 200 ft. or more in length. Powered by 18-hp. Tecumseh engine. Optional skidding winch pulls logs to mill, or mill to logs. Add-on track sections sit right on ground, creating a low profile which eliminates need for log ramps. Sells for $6,500.Contact: FARM SHOW Followup, Breezewood Inc., P.O. Box 266, Reynoldsville, Pa. 15851 (ph 814 653-9500).
