How To See If Your Radiator Is Plugged Up
Roger Kemp, High Prairie, Alberta: “Here’s a way to check to see if your radiator is plugged up. Bring your engine temperature up, then get a spray bottle of water. Spray water onto the cores. The tubes that have flowing hot anti-freeze will dry right off. The ones that are plugged up will stay wet longer. If they’re plugged, drain the fluid and add water, vinegar and a pinch of salt. Run the engine until the plugged cores are all open and then flush and refill with anti-freeze.”Click here to download page story appeared in.
